Whether he's painting wetlands or mountains in his home state of Virginia, the rocky coast of New England, Gulf Coast beaches, the high desert of the Southwest, or the bold blue of the Pacific Ocean as it splashes against the West Coast of North America, Crute simplifies and translates the essence of place onto canvases in ways that he hopes will later calm, soothe, and restore viewers of his work
What's New...- From now to January 31st, 5 pm, we are accepting bids on “Pt. Reyes I” (oil medium, 30”x40”) which has a gallery price of $2500. The reserve price of $250 has already been satisfied so the painting will definitely be finding a new home at the end of the month. To bid just send me an email at bill@williamcruteart.com.
